How do I work as a vegan artist?

With ethics and sustainability at the heart of my work, I specialise in bespoke art commissions which can be ordered for yourself or as a sentimental gift to someone else.

I also sell art work via my online shop, and dedicate part of my monthly profits to charity.

I’m a visual artist who creates intuitive, abstract pieces. Each explores the subject with different mediums, colour and emotion.

I’m inspired by timeless artistic styles from the most influential eras throughout history such as Impressionism, Abstract Expressionism, Fauvism and Minimalism. I like to infuse these style references with my own to create truly exclusive and personable art work for my clients and their story – each one special and unique in their own way.

Passionate about travel and being at one with nature, I’m continually inspired by the natural colour palettes of the world we live in. I like to hear and see the present moment and colorfully translate it into my art.

Spending time outdoors provides me with an opportunity to reflect on the instinct interconnectedness we all share with surrounding nature and wildlife. I expand and respect this connection through my art by using only vegan and cruelty-free art supplies.

Why would you invest in a bespoke art commission?

Ordering a bespoke art commission provides you with a precious way to preserve and display memories of a special day or event in your home.

They also make extremely thoughtful gifts, perfect for friends and families attending a wedding or a couple moving into their new home.

My art commissions can be completed from a photograph or other digital reference. It could be of anything which is meaningful to you or the person it’s for. It could be your favourite photo from your wedding, birthday, engagement, christening or other special occasion that you hold close to your heart. Perhaps you have a favourite place which you’d like me to interpret into a creative abstract? Or maybe you’d like an artistic portrait of your pet? Drop me a message and we can discuss your vision.

Importantly, art provides you another way to express yourself and your story, when it’s otherwise hard to find the words.

Gift vouchers are available for those who would like to arrange a painting for a family member or friend; these make for wonderful gifts.

What does your art commission include?

Your art commission is created on either canvas or fine quality art paper with vegan and cruelty- free art materials and includes:

  • A Certificate of Authenticity – this will be a one-of-a-kind original piece!
  • Protective packaging which is biodegradable/recyclable
  • Signed and recorded delivery in the U.K

Please note, art work does not come framed.

What's the order process?

1. Decide on the subject matter and style

Take a look at my existing galleries and some styles you like the look of, let me know what you like about them as this helps me understand your preference. Then choose the subject.

2. Get in touch

Say hello and send me a well-lit and good quality photograph of the subject. Send me one or two photos in an email, and together, we'll decide on the one which best suits your preferred style.

3. Choose a size

Pricing for art commissions vary depending on size, but it’s about choosing the best size for your wall space.

4. Creative brief agreed

Based on the above, I'll create a mood board of style and colour which I'll send you before I begin.

5. Payment

Once we’ve agreed on the brief, I’ll need a 50% non-refundable deposit from you to secure the commission.

6. Completion date

Please allow up to 8 weeks for your commission to be completed (though it may be sooner depending on business). Once it’s completed, I’ll send a photo of the finished piece, and I’ll request the final installment be paid.

7. Delivery

I’ll securely and professionally wrap your art with biodegradable and recyclable packaging and send it signed and recorded delivery within the U.K. Deliveries outside the U.K may be subject to additional charges.

8. Feedback

Your feedback is incredibly important, so I ask you to leave me a review on social media, tag me in your photos or send me a review via email which I can include in my testimonials!

My creative passions don’t stop at sustainable art commissions.

I own a vegan food blog and am a passionate vegan baker. I use my artistry to design and create marvellous vegan cakes and cupcakes for any occasion alongside ethical and editorial wedding photography.

You can book all three services as one package for an event, or individually as you please.

If you’re looking for a bespoke, creative and ethical wedding service which makes your life easier and gives you the opportunity to make a positive impact on the planet, then get in touch.

GMG Creative provides another way to buy ethically. I use sustainable methods and materials which aim to have the smallest possible impact on the environment.

As a vegan myself, this is a 100% vegan and cruelty-free business with no animal-tested or derived ingredients or materials.

To maximise my input and support causes I believe in, I also donate 5% of my monthly profits to charity.
