The Mission

As a multi-disciplined creative with a commitment to a sustainable, vegan lifestyle, I’ve combined my passion for the welfare of our planet and animals with my multi-layered creativity to make an impact on the UK’s wedding industry.

More consumers are interested in choosing ‘greener’ products and services to better the quality of their life and their environment. However, research suggests that kinder options like this need to be more accessible and affordable.1

I’m a firm believer that no individual or other species should suffer so we can express ourselves creatively and succeed in business. It’s essential to use our consumer power both as a business and as individuals to support ethical products and sustainable methods to effect positive change in the world.

That’s why I’ve made a conscious decision to make GMG Creative an ethical and sustainable business throughout. Clients can book all three services as one package for an event, or individually as they please.

“Every individual matters. Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference”

Jane Goodall

Since making the personal decision to become vegan, I’ve also become incredibly passionate about:

  • Living more compassionately and sustainably
  • Protecting the welfare and lives of animals we share this planet with
  • Supporting others who help protect and nurture the environment

Simply by booking with me, you can do your bit to help.

I strive to be mindful of ways I can achieve this in my day-to-day and for each creative service I offer.

I use sustainable methods and materials throughout my work which aim to have the smallest possible impact on the environment.

A few examples include:

  • Using online communication as much as possible to discuss creative briefs.
  • For wedding photography, I showcase the final photos using a gorgeous online portfolio platform which allows my clients to download them straight to their device.  This also helps reduce my business’s carbon footprint.
  • As a vegan myself, I’ve ensured that my business is 100% vegan and cruelty-free throughout, with no animal-tested or derived ingredients or materials. I have researched alternative options and suppliers, so I’m able to create the same, if not higher quality results, without harming the lives of others.
  • Veganism is key in art work. For example, paints, mediums, and even papers used in artwork may contain bone char, gelatine, ox gall, rabbit collagen, eggs, carmine, and shellac. Natural paintbrushes are made from the hair of sables, pigs, and squirrels. Instead, I have researched the best vegan alternatives to avoid these exploitative methods.
  • Finally, to maximise my input and support causes I believe in, I also donate 5% of my monthly profits to charity. I focus on charities which share the same values and passions as GMG Creative, but also offer ‘spotlight donations’ to charities who are pioneering social change.

Central to GMG Creative is the aim to provide couples and individuals across the UK with an accessible opportunity to go green, choose ethically and together, we can make a positive impact on the world.
